About Us
Turning Point 365 was created after Ms. Kimberley Dillard saw a need to give help to people to have a better chance at life. She has always found a way to assist those she saw who needed help. It began coming from families in which she saw many children who went into foster care. She developed a strong desire to break the generational curse. Furthermore, as an educator and a community mentor for over 25 years, she found that students and young adults who are current members and past products of foster care experienced the following:
- A lack of a strong support system.
- The absence of skills required to navigate daily tasks.
- Insufficient support from a life mentor while in foster care and after aging out.
- Incurred deficient assistance to those who are special needs.
- Lacked proper support while obtaining a secondary education.
The problems these children and young adults experience as they mature can wreak havoc not only on their lives but also on that of the communities they live within. Some will have a success story while others unfortunately fall through the cracks. The devastating effects may include, but are not limited to, human trafficking, incarceration, substance abuse, mental illness, homelessness, as well as a plethora of other systemic issues. The success stories come from those who were able to receive assistance from local programs. One of these programs is Turning Point 365 (TP365). TP365 objectives are to reduce homelessness, incarceration, unemployment, and the lack of basic life skills. As the CEO, Ms. Kimberley Dillard plans to give young adults the opportunity to gain basic life skills such as agribusiness knowledge, and economic empowerment while offering both residential and non-residential services to the clients and community at large.

Our Founder Kimberley Dillard is the driving force behind the organization and fills the Executive Director role. Kim earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Central State University and a M.S. in Human Resource Management from Central Michigan University. The management team will also consist of administrative and qualified clinical degreed, and licensed professionals to help successfully operate the programs.
